Job Description

A family-owned, design-driven business passionate about creating custom kitchens that are as functional as they are beautiful. With a bold aesthetic and a meticulous eye for detail, they’ve built a reputation for high-quality kitchen design and seamless project execution. They are currently looking to hire  creative and technically skilled Technical Kitchen Designers for  two locations: their Manhattan and Long Island, NY showrooms . This role goes beyond drafting—you’ll take full ownership of design projects from concept to completion, collaborate with our international drafting teams, and ensure every detail is technically accurate and aligned with client expectations. It’s a perfect fit for someone who thrives on precision, has a solid grasp of design software and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead kitchen design projects and ensure accuracy at every phase
  • Perform detailed technical reviews and markups on iPad
  • Collaborate with remote drafting teams in Central America and the Philippines
  • Maintain technical accuracy in drawings, measurements, and material specs
  • Communicate clearly with clients to translate their needs into actionable designs
  • Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely delivery of project components
  • Uphold aesthetic and functional standards while meeting code and compliance requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in kitchen design or a related technical field
  • Proficiency in 2020 Design ArchiCAD , or equivalent software preferred
  • Strong technical skills with an eye for detail and layout optimization
  • Experience using markup tools (preferably on iPad) for reviewing plans
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple projects remotely
