Position: Manufacturing Engineer II

Location: Batesville, IN

Duration: 1-Year Contract (Possible Extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and update process documents like job instructions, PFMEAs, and SOPs.
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and reports.
• Find ways to improve products and reduce costs.
• Solve problems with product design, materials, or assembly processes.
• Work with other engineers to fix issues and improve production.
• Analyze product failures and suggest improvements.
• Help reduce nonconforming materials and work with the quality team.
• Plan how products should be assembled to save time and resources.
• Make sure safety rules are followed and the work area stays clean.
• Use Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
• Supervise technicians or other team members when needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing (medical device experience is a plus).
• Good at solving problems and improving processes.
• Able to read technical drawings and documents.
• Familiar with safety and quality standards.
